In my opinion, Batman’s weirdest foe has always been The Penguin. Especially in that Tim Burton movie with his black sewer-drool problem and strange hands...he’s just always been a creep in my eyes. However, there is one thing I have always liked about The Penguin: his umbrellas. Whether it was a gun, a sword, a spinning hypnotizer or whatever else, The Penguin has some of the coolest umbrellas around -- and now you can too.
It’s the Gunbrella, and while it may not be an official Penguin issue it screams comic book geek all day. It’s got a curved wood handle to simulate that gun feeling while you carry it around but, what really makes it cool is the actual umbrella itself. Rather than cutting your fingers trying to get it open, you just pull the trigger and BANG! As you can see in the image over there it’s got that classic comic book style 'BANG' we are all so familiar with. No comic book geek should be without and umbrella this awesome. Obviously, it won’t really shoot anyone but it is super-cool and pretty reasonably priced.
You can pick up your own fully-functional Gunbrella right from their website and it will only set you back about $15. The lower price comes as the Gunbrella is currently on sale. Usually they’d want about $20 or so but, if you act fast you can save a couple bucks. Keep in mind it’s sold from a UK website so the prices you see there are euros not US dollars. Also, you have to promise you’ll be careful walking around Gotham with this thing. If the Bat sees you with it you could be in for some extremely physical questioning.
