The Super Star Destroyer is probably one of my favorite ships from the original Star Wars trilogy. Darth Vader’s custom cruiser is absolutely massive and I’ll never forget the first time I saw it on screen. LEGO decided they really like it too and it will be one of their largest and most expensive sets ever.
The Super Star Destroyer (Executor Class) set will hit LEGO’s online store and retail stores in September and will cost a staggering $400! This massive build will demand over 3,000 bricks and the finished product will stretch to about 50” long.
The set will come with 5 mini-figs - Darth Vader, Admiral Piett, Dengar, Bossk and IG-88. There will also be a display stand included with a data sheet label plastered on the side. The center section lifts off to reveal the command center so you can store Vader and his included bounty hunter friends inside.
Head over to LEGO.com for the full details and check out the video below to hear what Kurt, the set's designer, has to say about his latest LEGO Star Wars creation!
