Representatives from the largest publisher in Japan discussed the exciting manga they'll be releasing in the coming months at the Kodansha Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2011. Kumi Shimizu of Kodansha USA talked with Dallas Middaugh about the triumphant return of Sailor Moon in the U.S.!
Two Sailor Moon titles will be released September 13th: Sailor Moon, and Code Name Sailor V (which has never been released before in the United States). Sailor Moon is near and dear to Kodansha, and they are opting for an authentic translation: "we are spending a tremendous amount of time on this," Middaugh said. Sailor Moon creator Naoko Takeuchi is reviewing this revival of the popular manga -- which will be coming out on a bi-monthly schedule -- very carefully.
MTV Geek will provide you with the latest updates the return of Sailor Moon as they happen!
