Nikolaj Coster-Waldau -- Jaime Lannister on HBO's Game of Thrones -- took time out of his busy schedule at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 to chat with MTV Geek about TV's latest hit. "I read the pilot script before I read the book," he told us in a video interview, "and it was just an amazing world to experience!"
Coster-Waldau also noted how touched he's been by the enthusiastic fan response to the show:
"The biggest fear for the show when it came out is that only hard-core fantasy and sci-fi fans would watch it...but I think what's amazing is that it's kind have been able to cross-over!"
