Marvel's Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #1 just hit comic shop shelves this week (check out our dual reviews) and the Miles Morales merchandising train has already left the station! Our friends over at Diamond Select Toys have just released artwork for their planned Minimate of the new Wall Crawler that comes with two heads, so you can display him sans mask for "media uproar action"! The world is still abuzz over the debut of new alternate-reality Spider-Man Miles Morales in this week's issue of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #1. And since the creative team at Diamond Select Toys loves Spider-Man in all of his incarnations, they decided to waste no time in honoring him with his own action figure!
Miles will join the Marvel Minimates toy line next summer, as a 2-inch tall Minimate that showcases the new Ultimate Comics Spider-Man costume. The figure will have 14 points of articulation, a webline accessory, and a removable mask that reveals Miles' face underneath. Look for him in an exclusive two-pack at Toys "R" Us, alongside a classic Spider-Man villain to be revealed later!
