You probably know Mark Hamill best for his role as Andrew “Andy” Turner on The Streets of San Francisco, but did you know he’s also a comic book buff? But seriously, folks, The Guyver himself will be taking New York Comic-Con by storm as he announces some big stuff regarding the New-Gen line of comics.
As announced today, Hamill will be providing the forward for A.P.N.G. Enterprises' New-Gen Graphic Novel, Volume 1 which is printed and distributed by Marvel. The OGN will contain all six issues of the New-Gen saga, a new, indie superhero universe that deals primarily with the ramifications of nano-technology.
Not only will Hamill be providing the foreword to the book, but he’ll also be signing at the New-Gen booth at New York Comic-Con, and will be on hand for some big announcements throughout the Con. If we’re lucky, it will be a continuation of the epic space saga he was intimately a part of you. You know, Biker Mice From Mars?
Seriously, the amount of research I needed to do for this terrible joke was stupid.
In any case, the book is available for pre-order today at http://www.newgenuniverse.com/preorder-page/, which will allow you to pick up the book – and get it signed – at the Con.
