In support of his upcoming release, "Super Mario 3D Land," the one-and-only Mario stopped by the MTV Geek offices to take over running the site for the day. As a pop culture renascence man, he was the perfect plumber for the job. Not only does Mario have hundreds of video games under his belt, but he's starred in multiple animated series, had his own movie, has action figures of all shapes and sizes, he's even had his own cereal. In other words, he's got the know-how to handle the editorial, but can he survive in corporate America? Not surprisingly, the world's most recognizable video game character can save a princess and put together a stunning PowerPoint presentation. Take a look at what Mario was up to while he visited the Geek Headquarters.
First stop... the copy room. Just because Mario showed up prepared to present, doesn't mean he's not smart enough to take advantage of free copies.
Next, Mario took a few minutes to present his famous "From Pipes To Princesses" motivational speech to the Geek team, and make some suggestions on how to improve the site layout by including more mushrooms.
After a long day in the boardroom, even Mario has to take a break to recharge. Here he is in the salad bar (?!?) line at MTV's infamous cafeteria, The Lodge.
Mario had quite the busy day at the Geek offices. Check out more photos of Mario's time at MTV Geek.
"Super Mario 3D Land" releases on November 13, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
