Last week Apple announced the winners of its annual iTunes Rewind, a list of the top games and apps coming out of the App Store this year. Titles are divided between iPhone/iPod and iPad platforms and split up between apps and games.
Tiny Tower worked it's way to the Top iPhone Game with runners-up Tiny Wings and Touchgrind BMX. Top iPad Game went to Dead Space with runners-up Contre Jour HD and Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery. As far as apps go Apple chose Instagram as the Top iPhone App while Snapseed grabbed the Top iPad App position.
Apple also awarded games and apps based on sales (also split up by iPhone and iPad) and the full list of those winners can be found below.
