Toy Fair 2012: Diamond Select's Marvel Select Figures
Diamond Select Toys has been busting down the competition with their recent releases in the Marvel Select line! From the Disney Store-exclusive Avengers figures, to the highly articulated Gambit, DST's styling brought a much needed shot in the arm to Marvel action figures during the absence of Hasbro's Marvel Legends. Now that the Legends are back, Diamond Select Toys is keeping pace with figures like their latest X-Men offering: Colossus! Now, our friends over at Diamond Select Toys are going to be giving away a ton of incredible figures and all you have to do is take a few pictures of a big metal Russian!

The word has come down from collectors that Colossus is one of the best Marvel Select figures Diamond Select Toys has made in a long time -- possibly ever! So we're asking you to take pictures of him! Send us a picture of your Colossus in the coolest pose and setting, whether it's as part of a killer diorama on your shelf or in a brutal fight scene or out and about in the real world, and you can win a massive Marvel Select prize pack! The winner will get six Marvel Select X-Men figures, including some rare chase figures, plus an unpainted pre-production test shot of one of our past X-Men figures! It's our biggest Marvel Select X-Men-themed photo contest ever!
Rules:
- Take a photo in which the Marvel Select Colossus figure is the central character. You can include other figures or just Colossus, but all of the toys in the photo should be from Diamond Select Toys. No toys from other toy companies will be allowed. Photos with obvious non-DST content will be deleted.
- Shots can be indoors, outdoors, on miniature sets, on human-sized sets, whatever. But they should be in focus, and you should be able to tell what's going on in them.
- Photoshop is allowed for touch-ups or to duplicate a character, but not to alter the character extensively. Word balloons and text are not allowed.
- Photos should be at least 4 by 6 inches at 72 dpi (288x432 pixels). They can be vertical or horizontal.
- Post your photos on the Diamond Select Toys Facebook wall at http://www.facebook.com/diamondselecttoys between now and March 12th at 9 AM EST.
- Only one entry is allowed per person, so make sure your best shot is on the wall come Monday morning. Multiple entries will be disqualified, so please delete your earlier shots.
- The winner will get six Marvel Select X-Men action figures, some of them rare variant figures, as well as an unpainted pre-production test shot of another X-Man figure. Two runners-up will also be chosen to receive individual Marvel Select X-Men figures.
- By submitting the photograph to the contest, you give us permission to publish them on our Website.
