Well you're in luck because the world is getting a "Watchmen" toaster!
Now, have you ever stared longingly at that bagel and said, "Gosh, this sure would taste better if it had the visage of a badly burned child murderer on it"? Well...you're in double luck!
Huzzah!
Those pics are just mock-ups of the final products, but they'll work similarly to the Battlestar Galactica "Toaster" toaster that was released a few years back that burned the face of a Cylon Centurion onto your bread.
The toasters will be released in September 2012 by Dynamic Forces, who in an official press release said:
These collector toasters will imprint iconic images from your favorite Warner Bros. films and television series onto slices of bread to make a fun impression on your breakfast, lunch or midnight snack! The extra-wide slots allow you to not only toast bread, but also bagels and more.
Dynamic Forces recently landed a licensing deal with Warner Bros., so it will be releasing toasters based on such properties as The Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Story, Where the Wild Things Are, The Goonies, Gremlins, Little Shop of Horrors, Friday the 13th, Mad Magazine, Friends and more.
Friday the 13th! Jason Vorhees toast would delight my horror-loving heart and make my mornings oh so very sunny!
