NO MORE GAIMAN! Neil Gaiman recently offered his services to write Amy Pond's proposed guest-spot on Community's Who-spoof Inspector Spacetime, but due to Dan Harmon's dismissal from the show Gaiman said:
You know that bit a few days ago where I volunteered to write an Inspector Spacetime bit for Community if they took Karen G up on her offer to guest-Amy-Pond it?

TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE...SUN! There was an Annular eclipse yesterday and BBC News has some great pics !
I think they wasted the Black Widow and Hawkeye. Hawkeye is actually one of my favorite Avengers, so that saddened me. I missed the dynamic from the comics, where it's Hawkeye who is the cynical smartass (not Iron Man), always in conflict with the super straight guy Captain America.
EXHALE! Tom Hardy says the new Mad Max is...kinda coming...
We keep moving that around, you know? Who knows when it’ll come out? I’ve been on stand-by for two years…
STEM CELLS! Two patients have had stem cells transplanted into their eyes in an effort to help them regain their sight.
HOLY HELL! The Nine Circles of Hell..in LEGO! My favorite, circle 3, Gluttony (click the pic for more)
BOND! The trailer for the new James Bond flick Skyfall is here!
MAD GOD! Effects Legend Phil Tippet takes to Kickstarter to fund his incredible-looking new short! (via Aintitcool)
THE MOST CHARMING MAN ON EARTH! Hugh Jackman "auditions " to be a teacher!
"Is the school's zip-line accessible?"
