Proof positive that comic book heroes have transcended the geek niche, and entered the mainstream? Look no further than custom suit company Indochino's swanky new line of menswear inspired by four color supes.
For those not in the know (including your faithful writer up until a few hours ago), Indochino is the world's leading online custom menswear company; meaning you send them a few measurements, and they send you a suit custom made for your form. And, according to a quick search online, they're the real deal, making top notch suits at affordable prices... But before we get too much into commercial land, the more important part is that their new line is inspired by the idea of hidden heroes.
On the outside, the suits look like your regular, run of the mill, really pricey designer fashions. But the lining is inspired by superhero colors, and each comes with a magnetic logo pin that can be easily detached to "hide" your superhero identity. So okay, no, this isn't a secret Batman or Superman suit; but inspired by might be just the subtly the comic book fashion world needs.
To go along with the suits, Indochino produced a launch trailer with the FX company behind Hugo and Game of Thrones, which you can check out up top. Down low, there's pictures of the suits and more in action. Uhoh: too slow.
