ITEM! First Doctor Who Ep Is "Asylum Of The Daleks"
Only thing that would make this news more awesome is if the first ep was called "Arkham Asylum Of The Daleks." Anyway, we have some speculation about the episode here... And if you've got money and live in the UK, you can see the episode at the British Film Institute on August 14th.
ITEM! New Companion Probably Not A Lesbian, Okay?
The Doctor Who focused internet went a little nuts the other day with rumors that Jenna-Louise Coleman's new companion would not only be a lesbian, but also have an affair with fan favorite Victorian Silurian crime-solver Madame Vastra. Turns out, that's pretty much all rumors... At least until it isn't. Also: anything that brings Madame Vastra - and Jenny - back to the show is awesome in our books.
ITEM! Doctor Who Makes #4 On Brit List
A totally non-biased list of influential Brits put together by BBC America listed Doctor Who at #4, and you can watch the video evidence above! Weirdly, "BBC America" was listed as number one. So weird.
