According to to Deadline, Susan Sarandon will join Nick Swardson, TJ Miller, Mila Kunis, Danny McBride, Rob Riggle, Jennifer Coolidge, and Bob Odenkirk in the R-rated, stop-motion animated feature Hell & Back. Sarandon will voice Barb the Angel in the flick that centers around a couple of friends (Swardson and Miller) who have to venture through the fiery flames of Hell to rescue their pal.
The comedy is produced by ShadowMachine who previously worked on Adult Swim's Robot Chicken and (the brilliant) Moral Orel. Tommy Gianas and Ross Shuman direct while Hugh Sterbakov scripts.
No word on a release date yet.
