It's time for another installment of "Avengers Vs. X-Men: War Journals," which brings you behind-the-scenes of the Marvel event. In this episode, we look at "Avengers Vs. X-Men" #7, on stands now. Writer Matt Fraction and editor Tom Brevoort talks about how it all came together. Fraction comments:
"Issue five is the end of the first act, and seven gets us into the belly of the beast for the second act. With issue five I had 80-some pages of momentum that everybody else had done, and I knew exactly what had to happen on page 22. The five of them leave. Everything was rocketing towards that moment."
We also have a spotlight on Matt Fraction, with his fellow "Avengers Vs. X-Men" writers giving their opinions on the writer. Mark Waid says,
"Fraction's the cool kid at the table. Fraction's the guy who if he wasn't in comics we'd all want to punch in the face because he's good-looking and articulate."
