In this week's installment of Avengers vs. X-Men: War Journals we go deeper into the newly released "Avengers vs. X-Men" #9.
Writer Jason Aaron explains how he focused the issue on our favorite web-slinger Spider-Man:
It was fun to look at these events through his eyes and give him a role in it.
Artist Adam Kubert gave us a very cool peek at his process by taking us panel by panel through a few pages of the issue. He said, as he showed us a splash page featuring the Phoenix Five:
I like to get the visuals as big as possible. I'll look to compress the elements on one page, in order to get other elements as big as I can.
He went on to say:
You don't want the people to be confused at all, the most important part is that the story is clear.
In another clip we spoke with Aaron about a technique to capturing realistic and dynamic dialogue. The secret, he says, is listening.
