Here there be cartoon dragons!
Hey, you know who loves the hit DreamWorks film How to Train Your Dragon? My nieces and nephews. Now you know who's a grown-a** man who loves How to Train Your Dragon?
That's right, MTV Geek blogger and editor Eddie Wright. Oh, and me, and anyone else with eyeballs--that movie's terrific.
So, I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to the upcoming Cartoon Network series, Dragons: Riders of Berk, which is making its debut on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:30 PM ET. The series will feature a the band of dragon trainers on the island of Berk attempting to school their new toothy friends. Jay Baruchel reprises his role as Hiccup, joined by America Ferrera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and TJ Miller.
Here's the official synopsis:
This weekly animated series follows the continuing adventures of Hiccup and his dragon Toothless on the Viking island of Berk, along with the band of dragon trainers, all of whom now have dragons of their own! Through their training, the kids develop special bonds with their dragons by learning about each dragon’s unique powers, discovering entirely new species and battling against new villains as they explore whole new worlds they never dreamed existed.
