Director Kevin McTurk's gothic puppet horror fantasy starring Christopher Lloyd might just pull your strings.
Watch this one all the way through.
According to its production site, The Narrative of Victor Karloch follows the titular lifelong supernatural investigator and his journey into the unknown.
In production since 2009, Karloch's journey to film is an interesting story in and of itself, starting out as a radio drama accompanied by mist and scent machines for vision impaired children, and later a film and stage production hybrid utilizing 30" tall bunraku-style puppets (which sometimes require multiple puppeteers for one character). The film is produced by the Jim Henson Foundation along with Heather Henson's Handmade Puppet Dreams Films.
And the cast: Back to the Future's Christopher Lloyd plays the title character and is joined by Elijah Wood as William Merriwether, and "Futurama's" Maurice LaMarche as Professor Marley.
The film is currently making the film festival circuit, but you can follow it on the Karloch Facebook page.
