Aquaman is sick of being pushed around and he's clearly getting his revenge thanks to Robot Chicken on the variant cover of Aquaman #12.
On Sept 9--as we reported here--Robot Chicken will take aim on the DCU with the Robot Chicken DC Comics Special. And to promote the event, DC revealed this awesome cover.
TV Guide premiered the cover along with an interview with Aquaman writer Geoff Johns who said the special will heavily feature the misunderstood, water-logged laughing stock. He said:
...the title could just as easily be How Aquaman Got His Groove Back!
But don't expect any Robot Chicken fun in the pages of Aquaman #12. Johns told TV Guide that his story is "deadly serious" and "reveals a much darker side of Aquaman."
Aquaman #12 is on shelves Wednesday August 29.
