I spend a lot of time at my keyboard and regardless of how many cleaning solutions I buy, It never seems to stay that way. If only I could toss this thing in the sink and give it good scrubbing... Thankfully, that's exactly what Logitech had in mind when they put together the Washable Keyboard seen above!
The Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 isn't available just yet, but you can setup a pre-order over at their website right now. The best part? This water, spill and ketchup proof typing device will only set you back about $40, which is a great price considering most any keyboard would cost you that much.
One would think that washing a keyboard over and over again would eventually leave it with blank keys, but Logitech took steps they claim will prevent that from ever happening. First, the keys are laser printed and then they're covered with UV coating to prevent any fading. Obviously you won't want to put this thing in the dishwasher, but it'll be great for anyone strapped to their desk all day and it drys out quick thanks to drianage holes in the bottom. Though I can't help but wonder if those will have water slowly leaking onto your desk after a rinse.
