Star Wars Celebration VI was filled with excitement today, as "Robot Chicken" team Seth Green and Matt Senreich revealed their brand spankin' new TV series, "Star Wars: Detours." In the spirit of "Robot Chicken," the animated show will poke fun at the Star Wars franchise. According to E Online, Green told the panel at SW Celebration how the show came to be:
"Lucas was sitting at a desk and said, ‘You guys think you're pretty f***ing funny, don't you? 'So, how about we do something funny together?'"
"Star Wars: Detours" will take place between Episode III and IV, and even though there's no premiere dates yet, an official trailer played at the panel. Check it out, and feel free to let us know what you think about this latest (albeit funny) chapter in the continuing Star Wars saga:
