On her site, Mercury and Chiggers writer and artist Hope Larson showed off some excerpts from her October adaptation of the beloved Madeleine L’Engle novel, A Wrinkle in Time.
After 50 years of continuous publication and a film, it's a surprise that up until now, A Wrinkle In Time didn't get the graphic novel treatment. But thanks to Hope Larson, on October we'll get to see one as the classic novel gets a hardcover GN. Here's hoping Larson's adaptation takes off--I'd love to see her tackle the other three books in Ms. L'Engle's world-hopping, time traveling, sometimes sci-fi, quasi-religious fantasies.
We've presented a few pages from the excerpt below, but really, you should head over to Ms. Larson's blog to check out the entire sample.
Larson's adaptation will be available for $19.99 as a 392-page hardcover on October 2nd. You can find out where to buy the book here.
