The studio has an 8-disc set planned for November celebrating one of this generation's most divisive/brilliant/derivative/innovative filmmakers. Arriving just a month before the release of his latest, "Django Unchained," the "Tarantino XX" set will collect his films from first to last, including previously-released features on earlier discs.
Lionsgate's set is really more of a repackaging of previous Blu-ray releases from Quentin Taranntino's filmography--based on a look at the included features, the only new additions to this release are "Critics Corner: The Films of Quentin Tarantino," which has various critics discussing the writer-director's work and "20 Years of Filmmaking" which is biography of Tarantino via his filmography.
And while we've got his early writing effort, the Tony Scott-directed "True Romance" here, "Four Rooms" and his collaboration with Robert Rodriguez "From Dusk Til Dawn" are noticeably absent. Likewise, the long-promised "The Whole Bloody Affair" cut of "Kill Bill" (and if we don't get that next year for the first film's 10th anniversary, I'm betting it'll be a long time still before that version of Tarantino's martial arts epic ever sees the light of day).
You can find all of the features for each disc below. Please note that Lionsgate has indicated that some of these features are subject to removal in the final release.
