It's been almost 10 years since Joe Dante took a shot at breathing new life into Bugs, Daffy and the rest of the crew in the Brendan Fraser-starring flop, "Looney Tunes: Back in Action." Well it looks like Warner Bros. is getting the gang back together in a brand new CG/live-action "Looney Tunes" flick to be scripted by "SNL" alum Jenny Slate.
Why WB feels the need to meld the world-famous Looney Tunes characters with actual humans is beyond me, but the formula proved successful with the 1996 intergalactic B-ball comedy "Space Jam," starring Michael Jordan and a very funny Bill Murray.
Recently, Miami Heat superstar LeBron James tweeted that he would love to star in "Space Jam 2." So will he be getting his shot?
We'll see as details develop.
Personal Note: They should TOTALLY make a full-length, ultra-meta "Duck Amock" movie.
