Kawamura-Ganjavian, the architecture and design studio that created the Ostrich Pillow say:
We believe that sleep is one of the most basic human essentials and due to our life styles, our traditional methods of sleep have had to change, Our dream is to improve the world through our environment and products, even if it is while snoring!
The group stresses the importance of power napping, quoting a study that reports that folks who nap at least 3 times a week have a 37% lower risk of "heart-related death." No word on "embarrassment-related death."

But seriously, if you plan to use it at work, have the decency to climb under the desk, Constanza-style. No one likes to see a co-worker, sound asleep facedown with a pillow on his or her head.
