Slipknot/Stone Sour's Corey Taylor joined MTV Geek's Steven Smith during New York Comic-Con to talk about his latest project: a comic tie-in to his band's upcoming concept album, "House of Gold And Bones." With the first half of the album on sale next week, Taylor visited the MTV Geek booth to tell us a little more about the comic, which is on the way in April of next year.
The frontman and lyricist's story is being split between comics, videos, and, of course, the two-part album and will be released on April 17th--about a month before the second half of the album is released. According to Taylor, lyrics from the album will be worked into the story as the inner monologues of its characters, tying both works together.
Plus, Taylor broke out his kazoo to pay tribute to the great John Williams by playing a few of the composer's most famous movie tunes.
