It's day one of the zombie apocalypse. You and your gang of rag-tag survivors are about to make a break for the school bus across the street. You've got to be quick on your feet, so you won't be able to take much. Thankfully, this Zombie Survival Kit from ThinkGeek will fit perfectly in your bug-out bag.
Okay, so the zombie apocalypse (probably) won't be happening any time soon, but there's nothing wrong with being prepared. The main selling point of Zombie Survival Kit has to be the SOG Tactical Tomahawk - “One and a half pounds of 420 stainless steel zombie 'persuasion,'” according to the product page. It's over 15 inches long with an eight inch blade and fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle. Every survival kit needs a multi-purpose tool and this is yours.
Obviously, the kit is full of all sorts of other goodies like Zombie Jerky, a collapsible shot glass, dissolving hand soap sheets, the CRKT Eat'N Tool, a survival kit in a sardine can and of course, energy drinks. To top it all off ThinkGeek throws in a length of 550 lb paracord (just in case!) and wraps the whole package in a nylon bag reading, "Zombie Survival Kit / In Case of Outbreak: Open Bag."
Of course, everything costs money and the same holds true for the Zombie Survival Kit, it will set you back about $80. If you don't have much experience throwing a tomahawk you may also want to pick up one of these practice dummies.
