Hat tip to Badass Digest for bringing these to our attention.
Back in 2009, for CustomCon 24, Eric Dlugokinski created custom "Friday the 13th" Minimates based on the first 3 flicks in the series. From "Friday Part 1" we get Pamela and lake-jumping Jason. From "Part 2" we get flour sack head Jason with bonus "Sloth face hillbilly head." And for "Part 3" we get the iconic hockey mask-donning killer we all know and love.
Here's how Eric made each of these killer killers:
Jason part 1: Repainted minimate with resculpted Spider-Man head cap.
Pamela Voorhees: Repainted minimate with resculpted Tony Stark hairpiece and Jigsaw shirt piece. All weapons (minus knife)were modified Hobby Gear tools that were moulded and recast.Jason Part 2: Repainted minimate with sculpted sack head cap and resculpted Human Torch shoulder flame accessory. Sackless head is a resculpted Spider-man head cap. All weapons were modified Hobby Gear tools that were moulded and recast.
Jason part 3: Repainted minimate body with resculpted Spider-Man head cap and Jigsaw shirt piece. Hockey mask was custom made from a modified Buffalo Bill night vision goggles It was moulded and cast into one solid piece. All weapons were modified Hobby Gear / G.I Joe tools that were moulded and recast.
Speaking of Friday the 13th Minimates. This exists!
Somebody get DST on the horn! I need these suckers now!
