In January 2013, IDW will tell the tale of the crew of the Starship Enterprise leading up to this Summer's "Star Trek Into Darkness" with "Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness."
According to the offical press release, "Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness" is:
Written by Mike Johnson with a story by Roberto Orci and art by David Messina, this 4-issue miniseries will lead directly into the May release of Star Trek Into Darkness, bridging the gap between the two films and giving fans an exclusive peek at the film’s mysterious story.
The big question about these issues is will we find out who the heck John Harrison is and if we'll find out that his middle name is really KHAAAAAAAAAN!
