Hasbro asked fans to vote which "Monopoly" token they would like to see sent to the big toy store in the sky, and it turns out, people hate irons.
Yes, the iron is gone. The piece that you never picked anyway because you'd much rather be the car, dog, ship, or the thimble (for you ironic hipsters).
The vote was to kill the car, thimble, shoe, dog, ship, hat, iron, or wheelbarrow and replace it with either a robot, diamond ring, cat, helicopter, or guitar. The people spoke and the iron died, only to be replaced by a cat. The Internet likes cats, huh? Who knew? The shoe and wheelbarrow also earned few votes of support, while fans rallied behind the Skottie dog.
