"Downton Abbey" fans can read about the origins of their favorite show on February 20th, when Bluewater's "Lady Almina: The Real Downton Abbey" becomes available as a comic book.
Part of the publisher's "Female Force" series, the bio-comic focuses on the at-times scandalous life of Lady Almina -- the real-life inspiration for "Downton Abbey".
The comic is written by Michael Troy with art by Giuseppe Latanza and a cover by Philip Horton, and is available exclusively for order at Comic Book Flea Market. It will also be available everywhere digital comics are sold, including iTunes, Nook, Kindle, Google Play, ComiXology, iTunes, and Amazon.
Commented writer Troy: "I've always had a fondness for snooty British aristocracy and scandal- so this one was a guilty pleasure to work on for sure."
