The "Angry Birds" media onslaught continues. Not only is a CG feature film on the way from the Rovio-developed physics action game, but starting in March, "Angry Birds Toons" will debut online.
In a post this morning on their blog, Rovio announced "Angry Birds Toons" as the place where viewers can find out "What makes Bomb Bird so angry? Why is the King Pig the King Pig? And are those mischievous piggies ever going to get hold of the eggs?"
Based on the looks of the trailer above, the series was made using Flash, versus its upcoming big-budget CG counterpart. Also: I guess the birds and pigs won't be speaking much?
The first episode of "Angry Birds Toons" will premiere on March 16 on its official webpage, with new episodes debuting weekly.
