Talk about a feline charm! Sam Raimi confirms that Webhead enemy/lover Black Cat would have been played by none other than Catwoman herself, Anne Hathaway -- had a "Spider-Man 4" movie ever been made. ("Spider-Man 4" must exist in the same pocket of the space-time continuum "Evil Dead 4" resides in)
MTV Spashpage quotes a Vulture interview with Raimi:
"I didn't get to see Batman yet, because I've been working nonstop on Oz, but I hear she's great in it. I'm not surprised, because I loved what she was doing with the auditions for Spider-Man 4."
Black Cat -- also known as Felicia Hardy -- had a very Catwoman-type relationship with Spidey/Peter Parker. So it's not surprising that Hathaway would have ended up playing the "Batman" character later on.
Question is: will we see a Black Cat in the rebooted "Spider-Man" series? And who will play her? Megan Fox, anyone? (anyone?)
