The YouTube channel Machinima will be home to new sci-fi programming executive produced by the "Alien" and "Blade Runner" director through his RSA production company.
Neat, free sci-fi!
The Deadline post only has the earliest of details about the deal which would see Machinima and Scott choosing the filmmakers creating the shorts for the video channel. Machinima has the pick of Scott's filmmakers at RSA which includes directors like Kathryn Bigelow and Joe Carnahan.
Scott's been keeping busy in recent years (isn't he supposed to be working on the "Prometheus" sequel right now), so this isn't really a big surprise. A look at his IMDB page sees the 75-year-old filmmaker adding his name to over a dozen in-production projects across TV and film.
