Even after taking on The Ghostbusters, Transformers, and Popeye, the Martians from "Mars Attacks" are still hell-bent on taking over the world. Announced at C2E2, IDW Publishing will bring readers an intergalactic crossover between "Mars Attacks" and "Judge Dredd." Launching in September, the angry army of green men continue their invasion at Mega-City One.
The battle for the soul of Mega-City One will be written by veteran "Dredd" writer Al "Action" Al Ewing and drawn by "Mars Attacks" artist John "Joltin" McCrea. Each cover will be illustrated by Greg "Gorgeous" Staples. The villainous Martians won't know what hit them when the grizzled Judge Dredd gets in their way.
It's a September to remember! It's bug eyes and disintegration rays versus a fully loaded Lawgiver and a zero-tolerance attitude in the Brawl for the Sprawl!
Get your tickets early, fight fans, because this September, "MARS ATTACKS JUDGE DREDD!"
You can pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge as these towering titans of total destruction do battle over four rounds of pulse-pounding punishment and crazed collateral damage!
I'm probably one of the few who actually saw the movie, but I enjoyed the hell out of "Dredd." I can't wait to see what Judge Dredd does this time when he takes on the little green men from Mars. I can't wait to pick up "Mars Attacks Judge Dredd" because it's going to be epic and outrageous at the same time.
"Mars Attacks Judge Dredd" #1 will be released in comic book shops in September.
