Fan girls and boys everywhere squee, and Hollywood breaths a sigh of relief as Marti Noxon -- known for her work on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and 2011's "Fright Night" -- announces her plans to rewrite the new "Tomb Raider" film. According to the film's producer, Graham King, the story chronicles Lara Croft's origins and will be loosely based on the highly-acclaimed reboot game released this past March. We can only speculate as to Noxon's role as chief bread enthusiast for craft services on set.

THE SUPREME COURT RULES DNA CAN'T BE PATENTED
In a victory for science this morning, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that you can't patent DNA, essentially making the genetic code open source for researchers and biotech companies. This is highly advantageous for consumers, who can get a second opinion on a diagnosis from a different company while competition between companies will (theoretically) keep tests costs down. cDNA, however, is totally fair game, and will no doubt play a huge part in the impending Justin Bieber clone apocalypse.
MC CHRIS: 'DON'T YOU [KICK]START WITH ME'
Pretty nifty, no? MC also mentions that his father -- a huge Western fan -- passed away recently, so
"this cartoon is tapping into what i loved (and occasionally hated) most about being a kid...I'm talking about who I am today, who I was and in a very simple way I'm connecting with my dad who I miss very much."
With a donation of $10,000, MC Chris will attend a slumber party at your house. So all you people out there with $10,000 lying around gathering dust, you best start thinking about what kind of toppings you like on your pizza.
