During San Diego Comic-Con, MTV Geek host Steven Smith got the cast of "The Legend of Korra" to join him on our couch for some real talk... about love. Cast members Janet Varney (Korra), David Faustino (Mako), and P.J. Byrne (Bolin) sat down to talk about the love triangle and other configurations among its young characters.
"I think ours is far from perfect," David Faustino told Smith, adding that his character Mako and Varney's Korra were "very confused." The first season saw Make shift his attentions to Seychelle Gabriel's character Asami, but ultimately coming to see that the Avatar was the only girl for him.
During the show, Nickelodeon announced that the second season of "Legend of Korra," subtitled "Spirits," will make its debut in September. Where the first season saw the new Avatar attempting to master the elements while combating ant-bender sentiments in the capitol city, season two will shift the focus to Korra's learning to control her headstrong nature while dealing with restless spirits invading the physical world.
