Now that the season 2 premiere of Nickelodeon's "The Legend of Korra" has gone live, we've got a lot of questions about the jump six months into the future. What's with Mako and Korra's relationship status? What about the Fire Ferrets? And how are spirits in the material world going to affect benders and non-benders alike?
Join MTV host Steven Smith in a chat with P.J. Byrne (Bolin) and David Faustino (Mako) as they recap tonight's premiere of Book 2!
****Spoilers after the jump!****
Let's start with the big one: will blood bending be recognized as a pro-bending skill?
Okay, seriously, what's the deal with Korra and Mako at the start of the new season? For most of season one, the couple had a just friends thing going on, before Korra was caught in the full-blown anti-bender conflict. This season, Mako's fully embraced his feelings, dating Korra and even joining the Republic City Police to gain a little more respectability. But things aren't quite perfect with the couple, with Mako having a little trouble feeling comfortable around his very powerful girlfriend.
Plus, according to Byrne, this will be the season that Bolin grows up. Sure, the new Fire Ferrets didn't have a great showing at the start of the episode, but maybe the world of pro bending won't be the last career for Bolin, who'll be joining the world of business throughout the season and finding a new role for himself--without his brother's guidance.
