During Toy Fair 2013, Hasbro unveiled yet another incarnation of their Transformers franchise: Construct-Bots! These figures move beyond just the construction/customization-aspect of their Kre-O brand by incorporating ball-joint articulation and the ability to transform without being disassembled! Bumblebee was one of the first to be shown (of course) thanks to the massive popularity he’s garnered over the last few years, but today MTV Geek is bringing you an exclusive first look at the upcoming Scout Class and Elite Class assortments—including, my favorite Decepticon, Shockwave!

Last year, Marvel Comics gave away an X-Force version of Archangel form Hasbro's Marvel Universe 3 3/4" action figure line for free with the purchase of a digital comic subscription. I missed my opportunity to own the winged bringer-of-death... and sadness ruled the day. Needless to say, when it was revealed that a Wolverine figure from the Mark Millar-penned Old Man Logan storyline was going to the next subscription figure beginning at New York Comic Con 2012, I knew there was no way in hell were pretty good odds I'd miss my chance to snag it! As fate would have it, Hasbro hooked me up (and all the other guests, cause I'm not special) with one for attending their press party, so I ripped Logan free from his package at the Javits Center for an on-site review!

The Mattel booth is once again stocked with piles of plastic awesome at New York Comic Con 2012, and more than a few glass shelves have been taken over by Batman-- plus a few of his allies and members of his rogues gallery. The variant suit-heavy Batman line is looking to continue strong with additions like Bane, the Joker (who has been hitting the gym), and a number of Batman figures with all manner of weapons attached. The Batman Unlimited line was also present for the first time since their announcement with the highlight for me being the "The Dark Knight Returns" version of Bruce that is compatible with Mattel's other collector-oriented line, Masters of the Universe Classics. You wanna see all of these various vigilantes and master criminals at NYCC 2012? Then read on!

Back in the early days of collectible action figures, Art Asylum was the company responsible for some of the coolest and edgiest designs around. Their figures weren't found in Wal-Mart or the other big retail chains, but instead were stocked in comic shop and music stores. Digger T. Mesch, and his incredible sculpting prowess, was the man running the Asylum and has since went on to pioneer the Minimates design and a number of fantastic statues and figures from companies like Diamond Select Toys-- and he was also one of the first guys in the trenches fighting for artist's rights against the big toy companies! Now, Digger is taking his eye for design to the small screen with his directorial debut on the new web-series "Agent 88"-- and he needs your help! While some big names (Heavy Metal, Diamond Select Toys, Jim Mahfood, David Mack, etc.) have shown their support, the funds to make this series about an 88 year-old, absent-minded, female assassin is coming from donations through Kickstarter. How does helping out give back to you, other than that warm, fuzzy feeling in your belly? How about exclusive art books and custom Minimates?!

Read on for all the info on "Agent 88", including the names attached to the project and how to donate!

Hot Toys has been making freakishly-realistic versions of Bruce Wayne's alter-ego for a few years now. In all that time we've seen multiple versions of the Dark Knight and the Joker, but with the release of "The Dark Knight Rises" it seems they've opened the floodgates for Bat-based 1/6th scale collectibles. Their latest teaser is for the upcoming Catwoman/ Selina Kyle figure, based on Anne Hathaway's look in the film, and while it only really reveals her spiked heels, we're sure we won't be disappointed when the entire toy is finally revealed. In honor of this sneak peek-- and since the post would be so short otherwise, we've also compiled some of Hot Toys other TDKR offerings.

At the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International, we saw an incredible amount of cool toys. Our brains were practically fried by Sunday afternoon as our feeble minds tried to process all that our eyes beheld.
