So I did a post last month on previewing the Scene It Star Wars game coming out this fall and now they have just released a teaser trailer to show us Jedis what we'll be looking forward to!
Just in case you missed it, here again are the game details:
From the Battle of Naboo to the birth of Luke Skywalker, from the rise of Darth Vader to the fall of the Galactic Empire - Scene It? Star Wars delivers hours of fun spanning the complete Star Wars film saga. As one of the engaging new puzzle types introduced in this landmark title, the “Jedi Archives” challenges players to solve puzzles utilizing behind-the- scenes film assets, from storyboards, production stills, concept art and more. The Force will need to be with fans as they try to solve the “Finish the Line” puzzles, which task Star Wars devotees to complete key dialogue from the films. The “Imperial Listening Post” incorporates the fantastic sound effects of Star Wars, as players endeavor to identify the iconic hum of lightsabers, or the inspiration of Chewbacca’s signature voice. Emulating R2-D2’s famous projector, “Holonet Disruptions” presents clues in holographic projections, as first depicted in the original Star Wars.

Tonight on Cartoon Network is another new episode of Star Wars: Clone Wars "Massacre." This episode is the first in an epic four-episode arc leading into the season finale, and the return of the universe's most notorious Sith. Last week MTV Geek got an exclusive video of Sam Witwer talking about his role as Darth Maul, and what a perfect person inside and out to play the part!

So some of you may remember my interview at last year's NY Toy Fair with the fabulous Robyn from Underground Toys. She gave us the scoop on all their fabulous Star Wars plush toys and we got the special preview of their 24" plush Chewie, which was a HUGE HIT in my office this past year. It literally brought tears of joy to many an MTV employee!! This year Underground Toys has even more cool stuff to show us, including these ball plush toys AND keychain size toys like Jawa! I squeezed the Jawa and it immediately screamed UTINNI at me!! I think that's my favorite Star Wars soundboard bite ever.

And now here we are, Phantom Menace 3D just released, and the force is now even stronger with Screenlife as they are able to bring us mega-fans and newbies alike the Star Wars Scene It game! It officially comes out late summer/fall but I saw a demo at Toy Fair yesterday and it's super awesome.

Screenlife is celebrating its tenth anniversary with the release of the FIRST-EVER Star Wars Scene It game coming out fall 2012! Just in time because I think I need some refreshing!
“It’s a delight to bring Star Wars, one of the most popular and beloved film franchises of all time, to the Scene It? galaxy of rich entertainment trivia,” said Barry Watts, CEO of Screenlife. “2012 is shaping up to be a great year for movie fans, as we are bringing not only fantastic new titles like Star Wars and Movie Night to our lineup, we are giving players new ways to play with convenient streaming gameplay.”
Here are the game details:
From the Battle of Naboo to the birth of Luke Skywalker, from the rise of Darth Vader to the fall of the Galactic Empire - Scene It? Star Wars delivers hours of fun spanning the complete Star Wars film saga. As one of the engaging new puzzle types introduced in this landmark title, the “Jedi Archives” challenges players to solve puzzles utilizing behind-the- scenes film assets, from storyboards, production stills, concept art and more. Emulating R2-D2’s famous projector, “Holonet Disruptions” presents clues in holographic projections, as first depicted in the original Star Wars.
Also Screenlife is introducing a new way to play by using the included DVD or streaming the content via your favorite web-enabled device, including laptops, tablets, and connected TVs. The streaming option offers added convenience while providing access to bonus content not found on the disc. Score!

Ok so as many of you may know, I'm not necessarily the biggest football fanatic. I mean I'm originally from Los Angeles and they haven't had a team in years! I had to dodge several Superbowl party invites and ended up at a local bar with some friends, drinking wine and watching the game. I played Words With Friends during the game and eagerly awaited the commercials. Remember last year when there was that amazing VW commercial with the kid Darth Vader? And once again, thanks to Lucasfilm and Volkswagen, I was NOT disappointed! Step aside, Madonna!
Ok, I mean how FRAKKING cute is that dog in the latest commercial? And shame on that owner for letting that sweet precious angel get overweight like that in the first place!
This commercial made the game for me and how real is that cantina scene??? LOVE IT.
Ok and now I'm super pumped for Phantom Menace 3D coming out this Friday!!! woo hoo!

Hello Clone Wars fans! A new episode of Star Wars: Clone Wars, "The Box," premieres this Friday on the Cartoon Network!
Which bounty hunters will be the last ones standing? It’s a tournament of champions, Star Wars-style, in the next all-new episode of The Clone Wars. Obi-Wan Kenobi is still deep undercover as the criminal marksman Rako Hardeen, and he’s done such an impressive job that he’s qualified for Count Dooku’s ultimate test: surviving the Box. MTV Geek's favorite Star Wars author Dan Wallace is coming out with yet another book, "Book of Sith," on February 10th! The release coincides with the release of YOU-KNOW-WHAT 3D, right? I first met Dan at New York Comic Con 2010 when I interviewed him about his book "Jedi Path" and he's been my fave ever since! I saw Dan again at last year's NYCC and he gave us a sneak peak demo of "Book of Sith" and this book is equally cool! Dan even took time out of his busy day to give me a quick Sith lesson.
