The Mattel panel during Power-Con/ThunderCon 2012 proved to reveal more than just he mind-blowingly awesome announcement of Castle Grayskull. In fact, the build up to to that news was ramped up with the reveal of 3 more figures to hit the Masters of the Universe Classics Club Eternia subscription in 2013: Snake Face, Octavia, and Karatii! Each of the 3 figures come from different aspects of the MotU-verse, including the less-than-loved New Adventures Of He-Man animated series. Read on for a closer look at the 3 figures as they were displayed at Power-Con!

The Collector's Edition of NetherRealm Studios' DC Comics-based videogame "Injustice: Gods Among Us" has just been announced, and is going to be giving fans a ton of stuff for the measly hundred-buck price tag, including one of the most action-packed statues we've seen come out of DC Collectibles in quite some time! "How action packed is it?" Well, Wonder Woman is posed as she's about to crack Batman's head open with the Kryptonian ship Superman was shuttled to Earth on from his dying planet. Yes, as Bats is being choked by the lasso of truth, he is also about to take a severe beating from what essentially amounts to a high-tech crib. That's a whole big pile of win in my book! Read on for all the info about the upcoming game package, including all of the other cool additions like free comics, skins, and DC Animated features!

During the 2012 Power-Con/ThunderCon, the forces of the Masters of the Universe and the ThunderCats came together for a special weekend in Los Angeles-- and nothing states that fan dedication and love more than cosplay! With smaller numbers than one of the mega shows, like SDCC, Power-Con/ThunderCon still had a fare share of costumed attendees, and the overall quality of the gear being worn was spectacular, just like the great attitudes of all involved! While my scrawny frame doesn't mesh well with furry underwear and shirtless-ness, join me as I take a closer look at a few of the people that managed to pull off the look as my favorite cosplayers from Power-Con/ThunderCon 2012!

While 2012 saw the release of only a few DC Superheroes LEGO sets, 2013 looks like it's going to be a busy year-- especially for the heroes of Gotham City. Although we don't have info on all of the sets themselves, we DO have photos of every single Minifigure release for the DC property, including everyone's favorite mush-mouthed Bane as he appeared in "The Dark Knight Rises"! These figures will be released sporadically throughout 2013 in various sets, so be sure to keep an eye out, and read on for all the photos, beginning with the Bat-centric releases-- except Aquaman, who swims his way into the lineup like a Candiru fish into a urethra (look it up).

During Power-Con/ThunderCon 2012, Mattel's annual panel proved to reveal one of the biggest announcements for the Masters of the Universe Classics toy line since its inception: Castle Grayskull! That's right He-Fans, a huge playset is the focus of, what was dubbed in their slideshow presentation, "The Castle Grayskull Experiment". He-Man's home away from home has been requested incessantly for years, so the pop from the crowd in attendance was both predictable AND practically deafening-- and rightfully so! However, as Scott Neitlich (Mattel's Brand Manager for MOTUC) began to explain, getting the massive Castle Grayskull as a centerpiece for the collection will totally depend on the fans themselves.

Since it's inception, Mega-City One has been host to every form of crime, from block wars to nuclear attack, and even the attempted genocide of the entire city at the hands of the Dark Judges. In all that time only one thing has been constant: the Judges. With the upcoming release of "Dredd 3D" this Friday, the 21st, it was about time for a top ten list counting down some of the most upstanding, and wretchedly vile Judges to ever grace the streets of the "Big Meg". Can you guess who'll be number one? Cause if you can't, then your guessing skills are seriously, seriously lacking.

While con season is wrapping up, one of the biggest and best is still on the way: New York Comic-Con! As with the other shows I frequent for MTV Geek, the con-exclusive toys are always what I get most excited about, and DC Collectibles has just released images and info on two of their offerings for the show! The Green Lantern two-pack continues the very cool, and highly articulated 3 3/4" line, with the other figure being the Aardman-style Batman based on the incredible DC Nation shorts. Both of these will only be available to New York Comic-Con attendees and MTV Geek is bringing you the first looks!

Sometimes, I find that having a walking tank would come in handy during my daily life. Sadly, strict government regulations won't allow me the weaponized uranium I need to begin construction. Thankfully, the fine mechanics over at Kotobukiya are coming through with the release of their Metal Gear Rex plastic model kit! While this monstrosity of robotic death is only 9 inches tall, and is made of less-than-bulletproof plastic, it'll have to so for now. Read on for all the info on Rex (and his tiny mini-figure compatriots) along with a ton of photos!

A couple of days ago, did you get a slight ringing in your ears late in the afternoon? Perhaps it sounded like a high-pitched whine. No? Well, then you were mercifully spared injury caused by the girlish squeal I let out after opening this figure of Hero Ash from NECA's "Evil Dead 2" line! It's the 25th anniversary of one of my favorite films, and this is the second series to bring Ash back to the pegs in all his groovy glory. I patiently waited for this figure for a long time, and then my addiction to toy hunts (and aversion to online ordering) caused me have to wait a little longer. "Why wait so long to get an Ash when there were two previous figures released?" Two words: Chainsaw hand! After finally finding this Deadite-killer at Hastings, I snatched him up and took him out for some review photos!

It is now Thursday the 13th, and I'm celebrating with a review of Jason Voorhees' latest action figure from NECA! He's based on his appearance in Fri-- crap. "FRIDAY the 13th!" Well, I'm still doing this review, regardless! As I was saying, the unstoppable killing machine is based on his appearance in "Friday the 13th: Part 3." There was a regular and "battle damaged" version of the figure on the racks, and I bet you can guess which one I'll be looking at today! I know quite a few Jasons and they're all bad eggs, so join me as I delve further into the details of the worst/best Jason of them all!

For most kids of the 80s, Castle Grayskull was the home to incredible battles between the forces of He-Man and Skeletor on Filmation's "He-Man & The Masters of the Universe" animated series. When it came to the massive toy version, Grayskull was represented by an opening facade that could house He-man and his cohorts as they made sure the Evil warriors couldn't breach the walls. While both versions will live in my heart, I was extremely excited (far more than a person has any right to be) to find out that Icon Heroes was releasing a statue of Castle Grayskull in all of its, previously unseen, glory!

Truly, we live in an age when all our dreams are made reality-- when it comes to video game-based action figures, anyway! The latest in a string of incredible announcements, Bluefin Tamashii Nations has saved the best for last by showing off the upcoming D-Arts Megaman figure set! Not only is Megaman an incredibly articulated and accurate version from the classic games, but he even comes with his pals Rush and Met! It's also worth noting that even with the extra figures, face parts, hands, and buster cannon effects, Megaman still costs less than 50 bucks! Read on for all the info straight from Tamashii Nations, along with lots of photos to get you pumped for a battle with the forces of Dr. Wily!

I've been meaning to watch the "Tiger & Bunny" anime series, I really have. Corporate-sponsored superheroes that sport sleek Iron Man-like armor seem right up my alley, and it doesn't hurt they're receiving some incredible action figures from Tamashii Nations! While I'm familiar with the usual 5" to 6" highly articulated figures from S.H. Figuarts, D-Arts, and the like, Tamashii Nations has upped the ante with the announcement of their new 12" Perfect Model line of figures; beginning with an eye-gougingly badass version of Wild Tiger from "Tiger & Bunny- The Beginning"! Die cast parts, tons of articulation, and 20 LEDs have all been jumbled together into something amazing. Clocking in at around three-hundred bucks means I'm gonna have to really, really, REALLY enjoy the hell outta the anime in order to invest in this come December; however, for true fans, this is gonna be a must-have!

You read that title right, folks! NECA announced their license for toys from Marvel Studios' "The Avengers" a while back, but I (and most people, according to Twitter) thought it would mostly be relegated to Head Knockers and such. Well, we were all wrong! NECA sent along a single photo of the first entry into their "The Avengers" 18" line: Captain America! Honestly, this figure looks really good and appears to feature a lot of the current articulation points seen on NECA's smaller figure lines. If 6", this Cap figure would put the Hasbro version to shame, but at 1/4 scale it heads into Hot Toys and Premium Format territory. We can't wait to see more and for now, here is the full photo, along with some info straight from NECA!

Winter is coming, and while the men and women in HBO's "Game of Thrones" series freak out over it, our friends at Dark Horse are using that time to continue developing their line of collectibles based on the show. Slated for February is a statue based on Tyrion Lannister as he led the charge through the army of King Stannis, after *SPOILER* King Joffrey punked out and hid with his mommy in the safety of the castle. This statue looks incredibly detailed and show-accurate and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Dark Horse's "GoT" collectibles line. For now, check out the full shot of the statue, along with info about its creation and eventual release!
