Welcome to the daily Geek Tweet Recap, where we bring you the best geeky tweets from the past 24 hours.

The "Masters of the Universe" line of toys was one of the biggest line of of products targeting boys back in the 80's, and with brawny hero He-Man, toymaker Mattel had a cultural hit on their hands, spawning an animated series and a feature film best left forgotten. But who, exactly, created He-Man? Filmmakers Corey Landis and Roger Lay Jr.--both avid He-Man fans from childhood--wanted to find out who was responsible for the character, interviewing numerous Mattel designers, artists, and executives, creating an almost "Rashamon"-like narrative about the creation of Eternia's shirtless hero in "Toy Masters."

During Power-Con 2013, I got a chance to see about half an hour of footage from the documentary (which is still in the editing process) presented by Lay and Landis who attempt to navigate the personalities, prickly egos, fights, and conflicting stories behind He-Man's creation.

Felicia Day Emmys

Last night was the 65th Emmy Awards. While there was plenty of nerd royalty in attendance at the Emmys, the show lacked any real defining geek moments (Although the James Cromwell fun fact--that he was the only person to say the phrase 'star trek' on the show--was totally awesome). We've come up with five ways the show could have been geekier and therefore way better: Read More...

The 90-minute conclusion to Hasbro Studios' "Transformers Prime" is headed to DVD and Blu-ray in October, and we've go a look at the trailer.

New York Comic-Con might not attract the huge movie and TV announcements of San Diego, but that doesn't mean you're not in for four days of previews, screenings, and exclusive reveals. After the jump, have a look at ten TV and film panels you shouldn't miss!

For one hour this weekend, it was turtle time during Power-Con 2013, during the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" panel where the creators of the Nickelodeon series looked back at season one with some thoughts on the Fall premiere of season two and beyond.

The panel features "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" showrunner Brandon Auman along with executive producer Ciero Nieli, design supervisor Irineo Maramba, voice actor Greg Cipes (Michelangelo) and character designer Felipe Smith. The quartet have some hefty credits between them with a list of animated titles and--in Smith's case--manga creations to their credit including "Transformers: Prime" and "Teen Titans" who know that fan reactions can often mean everything in the pre-release environment but it ultimately comes down to how they feel about the final product.

Your votes are in and have been counted, and your 2013 winner of Battle Arena Otaku is... Psyduck!

Wait, no--that's not right. Here's the actual winner...

When we learned that Cartoon Network wouldn't be renewing the "ThunderCats" reboot for a second season, it came as a shock. The show, which was both highly-anticipated prior to launch and a success in its somewhat odd Friday night timeslot, nonetheless couldn't move toys for parent company Bandai, leading ultimately to its cancellation.

This came as a disappointment to not only fans, but its creators, including Shannon Eric Denton who helped develop the series over a decade at Warner Brothers, and series Art Director Dan Norton. Both were on hand during this year's Power-Con--joined by the original Lion-O himself, Larry Kenney--to talk about what they had planned for the second season of the series. Death, decapitation, mutation, the origins of the ThunderCats and the strange secret of Snarf are all revealed after the jump.

Now that the season 2 premiere of Nickelodeon's "The Legend of Korra" has gone live, we've got a lot of questions about the jump six months into the future. What's with Mako and Korra's relationship status? What about the Fire Ferrets? And how are spirits in the material world going to affect benders and non-benders alike?

Join MTV host Steven Smith in a chat with P.J. Byrne (Bolin) and David Faustino (Mako) as they recap tonight's premiere of Book 2!

****Spoilers after the jump!****

What's Wander ("30 Rock" star Jack McBrayer) going to get up to in this week's new episode of "Wander Over Yonder?" Find out after the jump - as well as a look behind the scenes with series star Jack McBrayer and Creator/Executive Producer Craig McCracken:
