Over the past year, writer Bryan Q. Miller and a rotating team of artists have been slowly building the universe of "Smallville" into its own, far-reaching superhero continuity in the "Smallville Season 11" digital-first comics series.
In August, that reach will extend a little bit further. "Smallville Season 11" #16 will introduce one of the DC Universe's top-tier characters into the mix, and while she may not necessarily play the role she does in the New 52, she's sure to shake things up. I asked Miller what's in store, and just who this character, a princess from an island, if you were wondering, is.

Back in March, The New York Times announced that the "Spawn" character Angela, one of the handful of characters who had been at the crux of a legal battle between Spawn creator Todd McFarlane and writer Neil Gaiman, would be making the jump to Marvel Comics in "Age of Ultron" #10 by Brian Michael Bendis and an army of artists.

For the graphic novel adaptation of Stieg Larrson's massive blockbuster "Millenium Trilogy," Vertigo initially broke each the first book, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" into a pair of graphic novels written by Denise Mina, with art by Leonardo Manco and Andrea Mutti. Now, for the release of the second book, "The Girl Who Played with Fire," the company has elected to change its plans. Read one for full details.
