Nothing brings a room together quite like an incredibly bloated corpse. Now, thanks to Gentle Giant Ltd., all your decorating troubles are over with the release of the Well Walker Mini Bust based on the water-contaminating scamp seen in season 2 of AMC's "The Walking Dead"! To offset the undead menace, G.G. is also releasing Rick Grimes, sporting his police uniform as seen in season 1 of the show. He's also aiming his revolver-- y'know, the one he used to blow that little girl's head off in the first few minutes of the very first episode.

Gentle Giant Ltd. recently showed off some exclusives that would be available only during the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International-- but we didn't show them to you. No sir (or ma'am), we waited, because we had the sneaking suspicion they were holding something back, and were they ever! Three more items were revealed over the weekend to Gentle Giant's Premier Guild Members (which you need to be in order to pre-order the exclusives), so today we're bringing you coverage on the entire lot of incredibly sculpted goodness! Star Wars, Marvel, Mars Attacks, and even Pan's Labyrinth are represented, so there's something for almost anyone's taste in collectibles.

In today's economy, it's all about value. Well, Gentle Giant Ltd. is inadvertently bringing Marvel Comics fans a huge deal with the announcement of their latest Mini Bust: Moon Knight! Sure, it might look like just one legless vigilante, but readers know that this is so much more thanks to Moon Knight's struggle with fully-developed multiple personalities. That's right, when you buy Moon Knight you also get Mark Spector, Steven Grant, & Jake Lockley. But wait, there's more! With the revelations in the latest 12-issue comic book run from Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev, you'll also have the imaginary personas of Wolverine, Captain America, Spider-Man, and (latecomer) Iron Man! That's a whole lotta crazy for one collectible!
The styling for this Moon Knight Mini Bust is based on his original werewolf-hunting days, back when times were simpler and he hadn't found out that a time-traveling Hawkeye invented his weaponry in ancient Egypt. Stormtroopers and zombies normally have very little in common-- other than they're non-existent ability to properly aim firearms. However, Gentle Giant Ltd. has decided that, much like chocolate and peanut butter, the Empire's grunts and undead hordes are two great tastes that taste great together! That's right, the latest statue from Gentle Giant's Star Wars line up is none other than the Death Trooper! The shambling clones first appeared in the Random House novel, Death Troopers which introduced a horror slant to a galaxy far, far away; and now you can bring these soldiers very, very close!

"Sucker Punch", as with all Zach Snyder films, was visually impressive; from the robot-infested bullet trains to the trenches of zombie warfare, and the castle spires of a dragon's abode. However, one of the all-around greatest hallucinations to come out of Baby Doll's mind was that of a massive samurai warrior brandishing a minigun and ripping bullets throughout a burning dojo-- before Baby killed it, of course. Now Gentle Giant Ltd. is bringing that mind-blowing badassery to the masses with their latest statue release: The Sucker Punch Colossal Samurai with Minigun Statue! with a title that long, you just know it's gonna be good!

As the Avengers merchandise continues it's inevitable path towards oversaturation, Gentle Giant Ltd. brings us a couple of high quality busts featuring Iron Man and Hawkeye in their classic comic book looks from their first appearances on the hallowed team. We were especially interested in the Hawkeye bust coming equipped with a ton of different trick arrows that can be put into his quiver or displayed for the world to see.

So I started my day off Star Wars, as always, and sat in on the Star Wars collectibles panel at New York Comic Con! Chris Spitale from Lucasfilm Licensing showed us what's up and coming from companies such as Kotobukiya, Gentle Giant, Sideshow Collectibles, EFX Collectibles, Funko Blox, ThinkGeek and Comic Images.
Woodsy and Chris Spitale!Kotobukiya has a bunch of statues coming out, including Commander Cody, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Clone Trooper, droid packs, and Darth Maul from The Phantom Menace with a lightsaber and up to 18 different poses.

That Deadpool statue got your attention, didn’t it? Well, it sure managed to grab ours and so did the rest of Gentle Giant’s latest round of Marvel-based releases! Not only is the Merc with a Mouth riding his scooter and prepping a cannon, but Spider-Woman, The Red Skull, and even Wolverine have been added into the mix as well. Most of these are set for release this January, so that gives you some time to save up your loose change… tons and tons of loose change.

The hits just keep on coming with Gentle Giant Ltd.’s Star Wars and Marvel merchandise. This month, we mean that literally thanks to the info on their upcoming (not so) mini-bust of the Incredible Hulk! These fine collectibles are available for order, through your favorite comic shop, this month but won’t find their way onto your shelves until the Fall. Still, that female Stormtrooper statue is worth the wait!
Also, this month sees the continuation of G.G.'s tribute to the classic Kenner Star Wars line with the release of the Death Squad Commander in full 12 inch size. We love these toys, especially so thanks to the sweet blister card they arrive on.

While Spring is yet to fully rear its much-welcomed head, Autumn is already gearing up to take all your money! That’s because our friends over at Gentle Giant Ltd. are going to be releasing multiple Star Wars products, and let’s just face the facts that you’re going to NEED them… at least that’s our reasoning for constantly purchasing Jawa-related merchandise. G.G. has been branching out into various types of collectibles recently, and we're glad to see the continuation of the 12" Kenner-style vintage Star Wars figures. What really sets these off for us is the huge blister card that each figure is placed on!
