In the second issue of "Indestructible Hulk," Bruce Banner and Tony Stark met up and went off into the arctic to test one of Banner's inventions. Things went South from there.

Now, the two heroes and intellectual rivals are coming together again at the behest of an old professor of theirs in the "Indestructible Hulk" annual, coming this December. Writer Jeff Parker and artist Mahmud Asrar took some time to explain how the rivalry between the two science giants will continue.

The Marvel Knights imprint is returning this fall, and in December, writer Joe Keatinge and artist Piotr Kowalski will be taking the Hulk somewhere you maybe wouldn't expect to see old Bruce Banner: France. The four-issue "Marvel Knights: Hulk" series promises to turn readers' expectations on their heads in a lot of ways.

I caught up with Keatinge to talk about what's in store, and how this series will have an especially European sensibility.

One of the first series Marvel Comics will debut when it brings back the Marvel Knights imprint this fall is gonna be a doozy. The five-issue "Marvel Knights: Spider-Man" series by writer Matt Kindt ("Mind MGMT") and artist Marco Rudy ("Swamp Thing") will pit Spidey against 99 bad guys -- that's right, 99 -- in one big go.

That seems like a challenge for everyone involved, but Kindt and editor Thomas Brennan seemed to have a lot of fun with it. I chatted with them about the series and what's in store.

In October, the "Infinity" crossover will expand to the far reaches of space, as Marvel's premier group of spacefaring miscreants, the Guardians Of The Galaxy, step into the fray to face down Thanos and his evil minions.  We here at MTV Geek are always down for a good space opera, so we took the chance to ask writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Francesco Francavilla a few questions about what we have to look forward to in this story arc.

When talking to Stan Lee, I’m always left feeling like a minor league rookie on the pitcher’s mound facing off with the marquee player. After being in the business for about 74 years, and on the comic book convention circuit longer than my lifespan, the 90-year-old has answered every variation of a question – probably hundreds of times over.

I have been fortunate enough to talk to the beloved writer, creator and living legend – a label I apply without an ounce of hyperbole –multiple times in the past few years. But I still feel like a rookie when it comes to interviewing “The Man.” And one thing I’ve learned as a writer is that there is no talking to Stan Lee; there is only listening. Even when I think I’ve got a fresh question to pitch to the mustachioed one, I may not get the answer I wanted, but nonetheless feel an enormous sense of pride when he hits it with a clever response he chose.

So it went at Wizard World Comic Con NYC Experience this past weekend. Held at Manhattan’s Basketball City, Lee had a packed schedule of a meet-and-greet, autographs, photo ops and a panel. I have never seen him not have one of the biggest lines at any con he’s attended, and this was no different. Not surprisingly, our scheduled interview had to be postponed.

Still, Lee brought me behind his autograph table to chat with him between signing comics and memorabilia, and meeting fans. The activity was enough to wear me out, but Smilin' Stan Lee seemed as fresh as ever: Read More...
