As much as we love Mattel's "Masters of the Universe Classics" figures...we're pretty sure the Comet Warriors were the last figures from the original line anyone expected to get a Classics re-do, let alone as the high-profile San Diego Comic-Con exclusive figures for this year.

Before the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International, we made a list of our Top Ten Con-Exclusive Action Figures. Guess what happened to be number one on that very list? This Hasbro Marvel Legends set of Uncanny X-Force members: Wolverine, Psylocke, and Archangel! They're all sporting their black and gray/silver assassin-y type uniforms and that multiplied our want for these far more than we thought possible. We love teams that preemptively murder threats to mutant-kind, what can we say?! Did these figures live up to our expectations-- and the high prices they're drawing on evilbay? He was only available through Sideshow Collectibles, and after the show, Sideshow sent us one over to check out for ourselves! On the Friday night of San Diego Comic-Con, while some con attendees were hunting up grub and others still hitting up some of the many parties in the many hotels dotting the bay, I was heading to the USS Midway, a museum aircraft carrier about a mile from the convention center. My short trek in the waning daylight hours was in the hopes of seeing the world's biggest (animated) metal band in an Adult Swim-hosted show.
And that night, I and an intimate audience of a couple of hundred of Dethklok fans were rewarded with the thundering drums of Fear Factory's Gene Hoglan, Bryan Beller on Bass, and the brutal, throbbing guitars Mike Keneally and frontman/vocalist Brendon Small as the cartoon/live act just murdered our ears in advance of their nationwide tour.

Scream writer Kevin Williamson likes you to know that he knows the conventions of storytelling. That's, at least, what I've taken from his constantly winking and nudging forays into horror, and that seems to be the agenda of The Following, the upcoming Fox series with an intriguing premise re: a serial killer creating disciples that is hampered by a writer writing awkwardly, painfully about another would-be writer (who's also, in turn, obsessed and knowledgeable about another writer still). The Walking Dead pretty much owned San Diego Comic-Con this year, with the 100th issue breaking sales records, a live zombie maze in PetCo Park, and of course, the TV show everywhere. Plus, this was the world's first chance to meet the physical embodiment of the diabolical Governor, the worst villain the comic book version has ever seen (well, until the hundredth issue at least).
MTV News sat down with the guy playing the part - David Morrissey - as well as Laurie Holden, who plays Andrea, and show runner Glen Mazzara to find out what it's like to channel ultimate evil. Turns out? It's being dead sexy, at least according to Holden:

During our SDCC interview with Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick about the method to keeping their Adult Swim animated series popluar, the duo revealed their big secret: it takes so long to get an episode made, and the gap between seasons are so long that fans forget about the show and fall in love with it all over again.
Doc and Jackson go into some of the challenges of getting a season out the door (every couple of years or so) while challenging our host to some leg wrestling.
