Kotobukiya's Bishoujo statue line has encompassed a wide variety of pop culture franchises from the Ghostbusters to Marvel Comics; and while a version of Mass Effect's Commander Shepard was shown previously, it wasn't the last we'd be seeing of the video game heroine. Now, Kotobukiya is releasing an exclusive version of their Commander Shepard Bishoujo statue at the BioWare Store! That's right Mass Effect fans, here's another high-end collectible to blow your cash on as you replay the ME Trilogy and pat yourself on the back for getting the last ending changed. Fitting with the Bishoujo (pretty girl) theme, this is the female version of Shepard and looks different enough from the regular version to warrant a closer look.

Sometimes, I find that having a walking tank would come in handy during my daily life. Sadly, strict government regulations won't allow me the weaponized uranium I need to begin construction. NECA Toys has recently been doing the work of Aperture Laboratories with the release of their 1:1 scale Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device prop replica. While not actually being capable of opening portals through which to fling weighted cubes and/or annoying people in line at the bank, they do light up are an exact match to what is seen in the Portal 2 video game from Valve. Today, NECA is announcing the ATLAS version of the ASHPD will be going on sale in a succession of three different special sales, that will be announced exclusively on their Facebook page this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday! Not only does the Atlas light up in the correct blue and purple colors, but has some sweet blue racing stripes added on! That makes it faster!-- right?
