The Clone Wars Season 4 premieres NEXT Friday September 16th at 8pm on the Cartoon Network! MTV Geek was lucky enough to score an EXCLUSIVE CLIP to share with all our fellow geeks out there!

When the King of Mon Calamari is assassinated, talks break down between the Mon Cala and the Quarren, co-inhabitants of the world. To try and stop a civil war, the Republic sends in the Jedi but unbeknownst to them, the Quarren are already backed by the Separatists (lead by the shark-inspired Riff Tamson). Now the Jedi must protect Mon Cala's new leader, the young Prince Lee-Char, from the attack.

And here is our EXCLUSIVE CLIP "Water War:"

And just as another tease, here's another "Water War" clip:

I recently stumbled upon and found a great line of Star Wars tees they just launched on their site! They have a wide variety to choose from and one of the biggest pluses is that they have women's styles and sizes as well in some of their mix.

This R2 bleep shirt is made for women, which I love! Ashley Eckstein's Her Universe has paved the way for more fangirl wear! Check out this Star Wars mashup tee below, I'm lovin' this:

And how can anyone resist Deathstar Disco ball shirt? This is insane: also has a line of Ralph McQuerrie concept art Tees, some of which have never been sold as merchandise.

Check out's complete line of Star Wars tees here!

May the Force be with us all!

Star Wars: Clone Wars Season Four premieres September 16th on the Cartoon Network! This season is going to be better than ever. I was able to sit in on a couple of Clone Wars panels at Comic-Con and saw Dave Filoni and Joel Aron discuss new effects, characters, story arcs -- THE WORKS!!

I was lucky enough at Comic-Con to meet Ernie Cline, the fantastic screenwriter of the hilarious movie Fanboys!! If you are as much a Star Wars fan as I am, you'll love every second of this movie and it has a cameo with Carrie Fisher!!! How can you go wrong? And now Ernie has his first novel coming out, Ready Player One. I just finished the book last week and I was hooked from the first page to the last, no joke. It is a suspenseful cyberspace roller coaster read perfect for geeks!! Check out the New York Times review of his book too!

Here's the book synopsis via Deadline:

A teenager named Wade Watts escapes his bleak surrounds by logging into Oasis, a globally networked virtual utopia where users lead idyllic alternate lives. When the game’s eccentric billionaire creator dies, he offers up his fortune as the prize in an elaborate treasure hunt. Watts is pitted against powerful corporate foes and ruthless competitors who’ll do anything, in the Oasis and real world, to reach the treasure first.

I interviewed Ernie about his new book, Star Wars, video games and his DeLorean!

LW: Ok first off, I LOVE the movie Fanboys! It is so damn funny! How were you able to get your script from your desk all the way to Hollywood?

EC: I originally intended for Fanboys to be an ultra-low-budget indie film that I planned to shoot here in Austin. I wrote a part in the script for Harry Knowles to play himself, then gave him the script to see if he'd agree to be in it. Harry really loved my script and posted a glowing review of it on his website, which is read by everyone who works in Hollywood. Harry's review got the attention of a young producer who tracked me down and optioned the script. It took several more years after that, but eventually the movie was bought and produced by the Weinstein Company. It was a long, strange journey.

Happy Monday Star Wars Fans! So I want to start you all off this week with a trailer for a new book coming out, Ready Player One. I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy which I tore right through. It's Ernie Cline's first novel, you may remember Mr. Cline from that fantastic film I love FANBOYS.

Check out the awesome trailer here:

And here's a synopsis of his book:

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, READY PLAYER ONE is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

It’s the year 2044, and the real world is an ugly place.

Like most of humanity, Wade Watts escapes his grim surroundings by spending his waking hours jacked into the OASIS, a sprawling virtual utopia that lets you be anything you want to be, a place where you can live and play and fall in love on any of ten thousand planets.

And like most of humanity, Wade dreams of being the one to discover the ultimate lottery ticket that lies concealed within this virtual world. For somewhere inside this giant networked playground, OASIS creator James Halliday has hidden a series of fiendish puzzles that will yield massive fortune—and remarkable power—to whoever can unlock them.

For years, millions have struggled fruitlessly to attain this prize, knowing only that Halliday’s riddles are based in the pop culture he loved—that of the late twentieth century. And for years, millions have found in this quest another means of escape, retreating into happy, obsessive study of Halliday’s icons. Like many of his contemporaries, Wade is as comfortable debating the finer points of John Hughes’s oeuvre, playing Pac-Man, or reciting Devo lyrics as he is scrounging power to run his OASIS rig.

And then Wade stumbles upon the first puzzle.

Suddenly the whole world is watching, and thousands of competitors join the hunt—among them certain powerful players who are willing to commit very real murder to beat Wade to this prize. Now the only way for Wade to survive and preserve everything he knows is to win. But to do so, he may have to leave behind his oh-so-perfect virtual existence and face up to life—and love—in the real world he’s always been so desperate to escape.

A world at stake.

A quest for the ultimate prize.

Are you ready?

Ready Player One hits book stores August 16th!

So one of the highlights I'd knew I'd be experiencing at Comic-Con, besides my lucky run in with Mark Hamill, was the chance to interview the Mythbusters crew - Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and my good friend from our old Lucasfilm days together Grant Imahara. While most of my crazy cohorts were out finding the hippest geek parties, I curled up in my hotel room, catching up on as many Mythbusters shows and I could, preparing my questions. I had interviewed celebrities before, but something about these guys made me nervous! Why God why???

Tory, Kari, Grant and I got to spend a lovely Saturday morning together discussing all things Mythbusters! These guys are so easy going and so much fun to hang with! We talked about Star Wars, vomit, ear wax candles, RPG's (Not role playing games!), sky diving and Grant's current bachelor status! We even talked about Craig Ferguson's crush on the entire team and poor Geoff Peterson needing some arm repairs...

Check out their awesome interview here!

One of my highlights at this year's Comic-Con was the chance to interview the queen of all GEEK GIRLS, Bonnie Burton! Bonnie is not only the Sr. Editor for and a huge Bettie Page fan but has written several books including: The Star Wars Craft Book, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Planets in Peril, Draw Star Wars: The Clone Wars, You Can Draw: Star Wars, Girls Against Girls: Why We Are So Mean To Each Other And How We Can Change.

I just don't how this amazing woman does it all but she does and with a smile to boot!!

I got to spend a momentous hour with Bonnie asking her about her new craft book, her marriage to R2, how she handles all the Star Wars social media, geek girls, cosplay, Seth Green, and other Geek celebrities! I also sat in on the panel "Oh You Sexy Geek" where she gave us geek girls some great advice about being geeky and proud. I walked the Comic-Con floor with her and met Kyle Newman, OMG. Thanks Bon for taking that photo!! She even promised me next time we'll make Star Wars crafts together, CANNOT WAIT!!

The Force is strong with me for a Monday morning as I was able to score an EXCLUSIVE CLIP with over FIVE MINUTES of movie clips, footage and interviews for the new book coming out Star Wars: The Blueprints.

Star Wars: The Blueprints brings together, for the first time, the original blueprints created for the filming of the Star Wars Saga. Drawn from deep within the Lucasfilm Archives and combined with exhaustive and insightful commentary from best-selling author J. W. Rinzler, the collection maps in precise, vivid, and intricate detail the very genesis of the most enduring and beloved story ever to appear onscreen.

Star Wars: The Blueprints gives voice to the groundbreaking and brilliant engineers, designers, and artists that have, in film after film, created the most imaginative and iconic locales in the history of cinema. Melding science and art, these drawings giving birth to fantastic new worlds, ships, and creatures.

The clip also features interviews with Lucasfilm's Howard Roffman, J.W. Rinzler, Dennis Muren, and personal friend Lorne Petersen! I previewed this book at San Diego Comic-Con and it is a beautiful book and will only be sold in limited quantities!

Yesterday I had to thank me lucky charms as I was oh so privileged to interview Jeremy Bulloch, AKA BOBA FETT!!! OMG I was so excited and nervous, who’d think that a small town girl like me one day would be interviewing one of the darkest villians in the galaxy for MTV Geek!!

Jeremy has had quite a career, he started acting on stage at the age of 5 and by 12 years old was doing his first professional acting gig -- a cereal commercial in England, his motherland.  He’s also acted in several James Bond films and the original Doctor Who series. He landed the gig as Boba Fett when his half brother, Robert Watts, one of the Star Wars producers, suggested him for the part.

LW: How does it feel being one of the most iconic characters in the Star Wars universe?

JB: It’s very nice when people come up to you and say you’re iconic. To begin with I didn’t know what they were talking about. Then people bow in front of you at these events, but luckily having been around a long time, you take it in stride. It was just a part I played and it became very popular which is very fortunate. Every now and then there were a couple of theatre jobs that came up and I did them, and you came out and they were a huge success and then something else can be pretty bad. But this has just grown over the years and more and more people contact you. So every day I’m reminded that I’m either iconic which I think means old (hearty laugh!!) or you know, it’s something that you’ve done that people appreciate.

I've been back from Comic-Con just one week and still haven't caught up on all my coverage! While at Comic-Con I was lucky enough to interview some of the fabulous crew from Star Wars: Clone Wars!! As you know, Season 4 is coming out this Fall and the Force was with me as I got to chat with Dave Filoni, Joel Aron, Ashley Eckstein and Dee Bradley Baker about what's next for Anakin, Ahsoka, and the Clones!

First up is Supervising Director, Dave Filoni. Dave's a totally awesome dude and I met him last year at Star Wars Celebration. He is super excited about the next season and talks about Anakin, genius animation of the show and what the fans can expect in the latest season. Oh and you also will find out if he lets me try on his signature cowboy hat!

SDCC 2011: Dave Filoni Teases 'Clone Wars' Season 4

Ok, so Joel Aron, the Visual Effects Supervisor has been a great friend to me for, gulp, 18 YEARS! We met while working at ILM together! Joel made the jump from live action to fully-animated series on The Clone Wars. He is just so talented and talked me about all the hard work that goes behind the scenes in creating the series and how passionate he is about it all - "cinematic, poetic and stunning" are the 3 words he uses to describe Season 4.

SDCC 2011: Joel Aron Talks 'Clone Wars' Visual FX

So I covered as much Star Wars stuff as BIONICALLY possible at this year's San Diego Comic-Con 2011. I want to give you all the Star Wars Round Up of what I covered to make sure you didn't miss anything!!!

Need I say more??? Deleted scenes, never seen before footage, you know the drill!!!

2. The Clone Wars Season 4 Premiering this Fall!

Ok I actually saw TWO panels on The Clone Wars, one with Dave Filoni, Joel Aron and Cary Silver discussing the story arcs, new characters like KATEE SACKOFF'S, (OMG) old characters coming back and lots of new clips! The second panel I saw was on the Rendering the Galaxy Far, Far Away: The Digital Art and Light of The Clone Wars. Joel Aron, Dave Filoni and another producer discuss the effects Lucasfilm Animation creates to produce the series.

3. Dark Horse Comics: 20 Years of Star Wars!

Ok so when I was a kid, I got all my shoes at Stride Rite. They'd measure your feet, watch you walk, pinch your toes to make sure your shoes fit and you weren't lying to your parents to keep them because you thought they were so cool. I even got all my tap and ballet shoes there. I definitely was a Stride Rite VIP at the ripe age of 9.

So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that Stride Rite was making Star Wars tennis shoes!! I realized they were made for children but I got a pair of the Captain Rex shoes anyway. I was "somehow" able to squeeze my left foot into one shoe and try out the lights on them! I'd never worn shoes with lights before! Read More...

So on Friday at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Woodsy did a day of some Star Wars panels and also got to hang out with my hero Bonnie Burton, the Sr. Editor for! First I went to the  Dark Horse Comics: 20 Years of Star Wars Panel with Randy Stradley and a host of Star Wars guests from comics and more, including:

Mick Harrison (Dark Times)
Scott Allie and Stephane Roux (Jedi -- The Dark Side)
John Jackson Miller (Knight Errant)
Dave Filoni and the Fillbach Brothers (Star Wars: The Clone Wars)
Timothy Zahn (Choices of One)
Shelly Shapiro (editor-at-large, Del Rey)

They discussed the future of digital comics and gave out a cool poster too:

Check out MTV Geek's Don Hatfield's full coverage on the panel.
