Look, I don't know where the rest of you are hiding all this "collector's edition" expendable income, but please send some of it my way. It seems that with each announcement of a super-duper version of any given triple-A title, the price keeps raising in increments of at least $20. Last month, we found out that the "Batman: Arkham City" collector's edition will empty your bat-wallet for $100. Then, came word of the "Lord of the Rings: War in the North" limited edition that is so hardcore, you will gladly hand over $130 to wear an arrow quiver to the local GameStop every Tuesday.
Today, Bethesda has announced the collector's edition of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," and I hope you've been saving some rare dragon scales somewhere, because it's $150.
