Anyone who's ever seen "Back to the Future" has always wanted to take a ride in Doc Brown's DeLorean, and now they can thanks to TimeMachineRental.com. It's not one of the actual DMC DeLoreans used in the making of the films, but the street-legal replica is true to the stainless steel time machine we saw on screen. Swiss watch maker Romaine Jerome is taking a similar approach salvaging bits from a different historical vehicle to make custom wrist-wear, the DeLorean. That's right, the watch you see above was created using actual pieces of metal from the DeLorean DMC-12 made famous in the "Back to the Future" trilogy. Read More...

In order to simplify the concept of time travel, you’ve got to think a LOT about time travel. At least, that’s what writer/director Rian Johnson had to do with his new – excellent – movie "Looper", which opens this Friday in theaters everywhere.

When you mention Kickstarter the first thing that comes to mind is usually some cool new gadget or consumer product, but that's not always the case. We all know how sweet the AR.Drone 2.0 is and how much fun it would be to fly around everyday, but this quadrotor DeLorean is on a whole other level. Sure it's just a customized hobby kit, but even though its not packing all the tech and cameras found in the AR.Drone, flying RC toys don't get much cooler than this. Read More...

However, it was the hover board he used to outwit Griff Tannen that really sparked our interest-- and our jealousy. Turns out, as we discovered during Toy Fair 2012, it only took 23 for Mattel to make good on their fiction promise of floating awesomeness! Sure, this hover board is only a prop replica, but thanks to built in sound effects and sliders (like the kind used to move heavy furniture) we can have something as close to BttF II as currently possible. Now if we only had a Delorean...
